Happy 8th Anniversary, Sweetie!

Happy Easter! I hope everyone is having (or had) a good weekend. Last year, we started the tradition of a scavenger hunt for my son. My husband is keeping the little one busy outside with an Easter egg hunt, while I hide plastic eggs with clues throughout the house. I'll keep this brief.

Eight years ago today, my Sweetie and I were married on a beach in Maui. So fun. Great memories! I made this card for him using the colors from
Kristina's Color Inspiration Challenge #49.

Thanks for looking!

Happy Anniversary, Mom & Dad!

Hi everyone! Just a quick post before I go to school. I'm helping at our school's library this morning. I still have to get dressed and be out of the house in the next 30 minutes.

My parents celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on Monday. I made a card for them last week for Kristina's color inspiration challenge, but I hated the card. I didn't post it.

This new card is late, but I wanted it mailed out today! I used the colors from Dawn McVey's first color challenge.
I'll post details later today. Thanks for looking!

Color Inspiration #1 Challenge

Kristina, here's my attempt at using your color combo:
Chocolate Chip, Purely Pomegranate, Pumpkin Pie, Pretty in Pink

I made a 45th anniversary card for my parents. They are leaving on a cruise to Panana, Costa Rica, and Belize next week. In all the hundreds of stamps, I don't have a Happy Anniversary stamp. I used Felicidades Siempre (Happiness Always) and handwrote anos under the 45.

Card Ingredients (90% from Stampin' Up)
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Purely Pomegranate, Pumpkin Pie, Pretty in Pink
Stamps Sets: Brushstroke Alphabet Numbers, Think Happy Thoughts, & Felicidades Siempre
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Purely Pomegranate, Pumpkin Pie, Pretty in Pink
Punches: Scallop, 1 3/8" circle, 1 1/4" circle
Other: Brown gel pen

I learned about Kristina when I stumbled across her YouTube videos in January. She does one called Make a Card Monday. I've subscribe to her videos. On her design blog, she gave us a challenge to make a card using these colors.
