Happy Mother's Day - My Mom's Card

To you moms, Feliz Dia de Las Madres! Hope you have a great day.

This is the card I made for my mom. It's currently in the mail on it's way to New Mexico, so I'll have to tell my mom to check my blog to "see" her card. Love you, Mom!

This card uses the cute banner stamp from Practicing Creativity. I stamped the banner 3 times on white cardstock. On one of the images, I cut off the banners, so I could attach the Love hearts from Stampin' Up. This card as well as yesterday's card was shown on the Cards Magazine blog on Friday.

Thanks for visiting!

Card Ingredients
Stamps: I {Heart} Hearts & All Year Cheer I (SU!), Look Up (Practicing Creativity)
Paper: Tangerine Tango (SU!), white (Papertrey Ink)
Ink: ColorBox Frost White (Clearsnap), Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko), Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Rick Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay, Tangerine Tango
Tools: mini heart punch (SU!)
Other: white embossing powder, Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue, foam tape (3M)

Hey

Yay, it's Friday! The Little Guy is on Spring Break next week. We had planned a last-minute trip down to San Diego, specifically Carlsbad, where Legoland is located. The forecast was showing rain most of the week for the San Diego and Anaheim area, so we're not going. I was even looking up last-minute package deals to Maui. Hey, a girl can dream, right? We'll be relaxing and taking little days trips around the Bay Area instead.

Tomorrow is a rubber stamp convention in San Jose from 9 to 4 PM. I plan to attend for a couple of hours.

Here's another card using For the Love of Dots and Look Up from Practicing Creativity. Can you tell I enjoyed Courtney's stamp designs? I've been using them all week.

Thanks for stopping by!
