Happy Birthday to You

I'm almost embarrased to post this card. I don't like it very much. It's like distressing gone wild. Yikes! The only part I like is the lace border I cut with my Silhouette.

I loved the sketch and colors for Papertrey Ink's "Paint" by Number Sketch challenge. Well, tomorrow is another day. I'll have another try at this sketch at another time.

Have a good one and thanks for stopping by!

Card Ingredients
Stamps: Remember, Damask Designs, Background Basics: Text Style II
Paper: Kraft (SU!), Blue Grass (CA Paper Goods), Lemon Tart, Spring Moss, Very Vanilla (SU!)
Ink: VersaMark, Vintage Cream, Taken with Teal (SU!)

Actually, I quite like your distressing... it's not overbearing and the pretty lace balances it out. And the button ties in perfectly with the background. It's funny how we both used Taken with Teal. Love that color! Great take on the challenge.
