I didn't have time to watch the movie this week (Bride & Prejudice) for the Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge, but I wanted to make a card anyway. I love the whole Bollywood meets Jane Austen theme.
I watched the YouTube clips for the movie. Aishwarya Rai is gorgeous. Her eyes are amazing. I saw her recently on Martha Stewart. She was promoting the new Pink Panther movie. I remember seeing her a few years ago on Oprah.
Brooke & Sankari had a requirement to use bling on the card...that was my inspiration. I bought the handmade paper I used on this card at Costco over a year ago. This is the first time using the paper. I just noticed that the paper was made in India...cool! It has cotton and silk fibers.
Thanks for looking. Have a good day!

love your card! has such a serene feel to it. Yes I do agree Aishwarya Rai is gorgeous, and she sure has beautiful eyes! Her mother in law says she loves her smile. Everyone loves something about her!
The ribbon & brad detail is lovely! You are totally right about her eyes, they are gorgeous.
great details! I used to have a lot of handmade Indian papers - I really should have thought of that before! Oh well...
